Hello,
I am currently planning my WWOOF trip to Sweden and am looking for some travel experiences. I'm going to stay two weeks at a farm, probably near Stockholm (I didn't get the confirmation yet, but based on the previous mail I don't think there will be a problem). Because I'd also like to travel in Sweden, I'm thinking of going to Göteburg and travel from there to Stockholm in a few days. This would be somewhere between the 28th of June and the 4th of July.
All information about places to visit on the way, transport and places to stay are welcome. I'd like to see some of the smaller towns because I'll already be visiting Göteburg and Stockholm.
Thank you.

Hej,
If you want to travel trough Sweden, it is definetly very enjoyable to sleep in a tent.
You have to be aware of the mosquitos, but if you aren't annoyed about that you will enjoy your trip. Besides, it is a lot cheaper for you!
And if you just take a look on a map of sweden, you will recognize that you can find most of the big big big lakes between Göteborg and Stockholm. So there will be no problem.
If you just have a week for traveling from Göteborg to Stockholm, I would recommend staying just at one place and discover it than just rushing trough the landscapes.
So maybe you go to Örebrö by train and stay there for a few days before traveling to Stockholm.
Have a nice time in Sweden!!!
Greetings
Emma

Hej Eliza,
Emma is right - camping in Sweden is great and with allemansrätten it's legal to camp where you wish so long as you don't disturb the land and are not too close to someone's home. I'm planning a similar trip this summer and will be bicycling between Malmö and Stockholm. I haven't quite figured out my itinerary and this is my first time using WWOOF. It seems like a lot of potential hosts are full for the summer, but I'm hoping I can find something soon.
