Ask your hosts! They'll be happy to advise.

The list I would send potential guests would include suitable working clothes, solid shoes or boots, work gloves, a sun hat, sun cream if you use it, a sleeping bag, a good torch, an adaptor if you will need it for phone chargers etc and something to do in the evenings (a book, pack of cards ....)

Have a great trip!

Hello Whiz,

Why not a small present for your host?
Maybe an organic jam, or something typical from your region?

Wish you a nice wwoofing in Portugal.

Excellent idea! There are all sorts of goodies from 'home' that we can't get easily locally which we'd be thrilled to receive.

If your hosts are British, I bet they'd appreciate British tea bags and they're dead easy to pack & carry icon_smile.gif

Great topic!

Here is the Independent-pocket-guide-handbook for you who would like to read about experiences from other wwoofers.

Is there anyone who would like a similar pocketbook for WWOOFing in Sweden or Portugal?

Please click on the WWOOF-Icon down to the right and download the PDF-document. Depending on how many will download it in the next few weeks we'll see if it´s necessary to make a Swedish one or in Portuguese.

Stormy regards from Värmland..

Contact me if there are any new projects/events or festivals coming up, I love new challenges and meeting new people!

Hi Whiz,

In Wwoof Portugal and Wwoof Sweden the membership card don't exist anymore.
The hosts can check direct online the profile of each wwoofers.
